Pressure Detector And Method Used For Blood Pressure

Blood pressure is that which causes blood circulation in the body to pressure the blood vessels arteries.

Blood pressure is divided into two parts.

1. Systolic Pressure.

2. Diastolic Pressure.

Causes of blood pressure:

Strength of heart beat

Tone of blood vessels walls

Amount of fluid circulating

Viscosity of blood

Peripheral resistance

Pressure Detection:

There are three types of blood pressure monitoring for modern convenience.

  1. The meter (needle) blood pressure monitoring device is called an unarmed Aneroid BP apparatus.
  2. Mercury blood pressure Mercurial sphygmomanometer called BP apparatus
  3. Electronic Blood Pressure Viewing Tool called Digital BP Apparatus.

Methods Used:

The Mercury and Meter device has a cuff on the inside of the bag cuff that has a rubber bag that reads notes when pressure is filled with air.

The plastic bag-shaped cuff is tied just above the elbow joint and a rubber tube is filled with the egg-shaped elliptical bag containing the second egg attached to the cuff.

The stethoscope examines the brachial artery in front of the elbow and slightly inward.

The stethoscope is supported by the thumb of the hand by placing the pulse on the elbow above the patient’s thumb so that the patient leaves the arm completely loose Relaxed.

In the other hand the ball-shaped elliptical bag is grabbed in the hand and its valve is closed and pressed repeatedly while closing the fist. So that the air inside the cuff starts to fill in the bag tied above the elbow

The air pressure in the bag will move the needle of the B. P apparatus of the meter to zero degrees respectively.

Whereas Mercury’s BP in apparatus, mercury will climb from zero to dozens above slowly fill the air the sound of the pulse in the stethoscope will stop.

The air is filled to approximately degrees according to the patient’s age which is roughly equivalent to collecting about 90 in a general estimate.

When the sound stops lightly fill the air and fill the air again very slowly to disconnect the first closed valve when the sound in the stethoscope starts.

This is the place where the first sound was stopped then the precise reading stopped then the top sound started to sound down. This position (Reading-Level) will be the upper systolic pressure.

In a modern automatic digital device the cuff is tied to the arm and only one button is pressed and the air itself is filled.
